The Chardham (Chhota Chardham) are the four sacred pilgrimage sites in the Indian State of Uttarakhand. Chardham situated in Utarakhand which are Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri is referred to as Chota Chardham to differentiate it from this bigger circuit of Chardham sites. As originally the Chardham referred to a pilgrimage circuit encompassing four important temples—Puri, Rameswaram, Dwarka, and Badrinath—located roughly at the four cardinal points of the Indian Subcontinent.
